Rafting on the Lena River in July-August 2019 from the village of Kachug to the city of Ust-Kut. 509 km in 16 days!
For the rafting, I chose a section of the river from the village of Kachug to the city of Ust-Kut. This section is logically divided into two parts: Kachug – Zhigalovo, with a length of 160 km, a drop in height of 95 m, and Zhigalovo – Ust-Kut, with a length of 340 km, a drop of 128 m. The flow rate is 3-7 km / h. Using satellite maps, I got 504 km from the footbridge in Kachuga to the port of Osetrovo in Ust-Kut.
