The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Policy Yakutia took part in the international exhibition of agriculture and food industry “OMEK – 2013”, which took place from 18-22 September in Hungary.
Domestic farmers for the first time took part in the exhibition. The Russian exposition to present the Russian agricultural sector has been entrusted production of Yakutia, Tatarstan, the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Vologda region.
Our republic has presented one of their major brands republic – fish and fish products. So, RSKHPPK “Fish Arctic” presented in Hungary – white salmon, whitefish, cisco and whitefish smoked and sun-dried cisco “original” (Yukola).
At the opening of the exhibition stand of the Republic visited the Minister of Agriculture of Russia Nikolai Fyodorov and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Federal Minister and the Prime Minister of the fish tasted Yakut – cisco smoked and “dried fish”.
During the exhibition the residents and visitors of Hungary were able to appreciate the high quality and taste of the Yakut fish. Compared with residents of Russia Hungarians at times consume less fish and fish products, nevertheless, the majority noted that the northern fish is very tasty.
