This year is a jubilee in terms of the history of the development of Siberia – exactly 400 years ago in 1607 Mangazeysky Cossacks came to the mouth of the river Turuhan – the flow of the Yenisei River and founded Turukhansky jail. – What is the goal pursued your hike?
– The main objective of this campaign was clearly expressed by our Ust-Kut Fr. Sergei Rubtsov, now serving in Kirenske – Russian remind people about who the Russian people there. – How do you take the lower reaches of the Lena residents?

– Who were your expedition?
– There were twenty people. There were people from Omsk, Novosibirsk – representatives of those groups that are engaged in the Cossack and, say, a traditional Russian culture. From Bratsk were four men, one of Kazachinsko-Lena area. The expedition was Uneven – the participants were between 12 and 50 years.
– There is no doubt that the people gathered are not random: Proven, enthusiastic, professionally and mentally prepared. But I wonder, what did you do in the long haul, what did you do?

– How fast you were going?
– Rowing – five miles an hour. If you set sail, the rate was seven to nine kilometers. We had two support vessels – a catamaran and a lifeboat that carried on itself all the goods of the expedition. – How you met the inhabitants of towns and villages?
Very good memories of meetings in Kirensk district – in almost all the villages we waited and prepared a reception greeted with bread and salt in Makarovo local folk group has prepared a response mini-concert.
