This year’s National holiday “Ysyakh of Tuymaada” in the area Υs Khatyng was held for the 18th time. According to official information, 150 thousand people attended the feast.
16 working groups in the amount of 71 people were formed for holding cultural programs.
For two days, 17 venues hosted 85 programs. Of these, 10 ritual and ceremonial, 10 competitive programs, 8 expositions, 7 children’s, 4 massively sports ones.
The I International Festival of national beverage kumys drinking “Aiyy aha” – “Gods’ drink” was one of the central events. It was attended by 13 teams, 11 of them representing Yakutia. The winner of the festival is Mongolian kumys-producer, 2nd place – “Kymyschyt” of Yakutia Nam district, 3rd – farm “Sagyp” of Kazakhstan.
Valentin Khorunov of Nam district has been the winner in the contest of ohuokhay singing leaders, he won the main prize – a car “Lada Granta”.
The strongest man of sports contest “Games of Dygyn” has been Alex Kutukov of Nam district. The winner was awarded a prize of the general sponsor “Diamonds of Anabar” – 500, 000 rubles and the ATV from “Sport of Yakutia” newspaper.
The horse races for the prize of Yakutsk head of in the team event was won by Nam district. The winner got money in the amount of 1 million rubles.
The first horse race for the prize of the head of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) was held at the racetrack Ys Khatyng. At the end of 6 races, prize – 1 million rubles, went to the team of Khangalas region.
The opening ceremony was attended by over 1000 people.
105 horses and 21 foals were involved at the opening ceremony and the sun meeting in the alley 99 serge (hitchposts).
Sponsorship Group provided prizes to award winners of competitions from 50 organizations.
